Rashel the Cat

One of my favorite characters from my favorite book, the Chosen by L.J.Smith. She's called rashel that Cat, and is a vampire slayer, but ends up havin soulmates with a vampire by the name of Quinn who's been a vampire since the puritans arrival. She's known as the cat for leaving scratch marks on the skin of the dead dried bodies of the vampires with her line "this kitten has claws" because her mother used to call her cat.
